What’s happening:  Most important we need to vote, as an association, on our 2022 AAPOA Budget.  In past years, we also have invited local candidates who are running for various offices in the Town of Jay to speak.  This year there are 5 candidates who are running for 3 seats on the Town Council, 2 candidates running for Supervisor of the Town of Jay, and 2 candidates seeking the position of Town Clerk.  With that many candidates, the AAPOA is considering starting our meeting earlier, perhaps 9:30 AM, as a meet-the-candidates forum prior to the AAPOA general meeting for who those interested.  We will provide additional details prior to this meeting date regarding start times.

We are going to hold a “First Friday” get together event for any interested members of the AAPOA.

The details are below:

When: Friday– August 6th

Where: The Pavilion

Time:  6:30 PM

What to bring:  Something to drink and a snack

We will see how the event goes and if “fun is had by all” we might make this an ongoing event for the remainder of the summer on each first Friday of the month.
