IMPORTANT AAPOA WEEKEND EVENTS

General Membership Meeting: Saturday, July 2nd

Date:  July 2nd                    Time: 10 AM                     Place: Lake Eaton Pavilion

All AAPOA members are invited to attend our semi-annual General membership meeting.

Our agenda includes an update from our treasurer and the president’s report.  We will also present committee reports regarding:

  • Covenants and restrictions
  • Trails Committee
  • Membership, and
  • Architectural review, which handles building permits.

If you’re not already a 2022 member you can join at the meeting.

Picnic: Saturday, July 2nd —Come Join Your Neighbors!!!

Date:  July 2nd                           Time: 2 PM                                         Place: Lake Eaton

On Saturday July 2nd we will be hosting our annual 4th of July Picnic at Lake Eaton.  Festivities begin at 2 PM.  Please come join your friends and neighbors and be a part of celebrating our great little corner of the Adirondacks!!!  It will be a great afternoon of fun, food, and friends!

  • All food (hamburger, hot dogs, chips), drinks (wine, beer, soda, water), and desert will be provided free!
  • The only thing you need to bring is a lawn chair.

RAIN DATE FOR BOTH EVENTS: Sunday, July 3rd – same time

IF YOU ARE NOT A CURRENT MEMBER OF THE AAPOA WE WILL HAVE MEMBERSHIP FORMS AT BOTH EVENTS

AAPOA General Meeting: TO BE HELD October 9th

GENERAL MEETING DETAILS:

When: Saturday, October 9th
Where: The pavilion at Lake Eaton—this will be an outdoor meeting
Time: 10 AM

SPECIFICS:

The membership will socially distance themselves on the lawn area in front of the pavilion.
Please bring your own lawn chairs
The AAPOA Board will spread out in the pavilion.

MEETING SPECIFICS:

Most important we need to vote, as an association, on our proposed 2022 AAPOA Budget. Copies of the proposed budget will be available at the meeting.
There will be reports from:
the trail committee,
the architectural committee, and
the membership committee.
A president’s report regarding a variety of ongoing activities and issues being handled by the Executive Board.

AAPOA General Meeting – October 10th, 2020

(rain date October 11th)

Under phase 4, which the North Country remains under due to Covid, social gatherings of up to 50 people are permitted.  That will allow us to hold the regular fall General Membership meeting. 

GENERAL MEETING DETAILS:

When: Saturday, October 10th —- Rain date: Sunday, October 11th

Where: The pavilion at the lake—this will be an outdoor meeting

Time: 2 PM

SPECIFICS:

  • The membership will socially distance themselves on the lawn area in front of the pavilion.
  • Please bring your own lawn chairs
  • The AAPOA Board will spread out in the pavilion. 
  • Please bring/wear a mask
  • We will attempt to keep the meeting to about an hour

OTHER:

The most important item on the agenda is to approve an AAPOA budget for 2021.  The proposed budget is very similar to the current 2020 budget and contains no major additions.  The biggest budgetary increase is to our insurance liability coverage, which is a required expense.  Dues remain the same.
