Most of you have received the Acres Reporter by now. You may have noticed that there was no membership form at the back, as there always is. If you need a form, I have attached a link to the form in this post. There is also a form under the Owners Resources banner on the top of the website. Please print it, fill it out and send it with your check. We are at 252 members and would love to have more owners join and be able to use our amenities.
Another oops! Frank and Mary Kruegers names were omitted from the Planter Comm. Sorry and thanks to all of you. They planters are currently being set up and looking very nice.

The current edition of the AuSable Acres Reporter is in the mail. All owners for whom we have accurate mailing addresses should be receiving their issue in the next few days. We hope all of you enjoy reading the articles.
We are working on a big change for the next issue which comes out in the spring of 2014. We will be sending the newsletter by email to as many people as we can. This will greatly reduce our postage and printing costs going forward. To do this, however, we need your help. When you fill out your membership form, please provide your email address and check the box at the bottom of the form to be added to our email list. The more people who sign up for this form of communication the better. We will also use it to remind people of upcoming events and meetings.
We may have to remove non-members from our mailing list as well in the near future. Dues are due in January and we ask you to send the completed membership form and your dues check early in 2014. Membership cards will be mailed to you once your dues are received. As you know, the more members we have, the stronger our voice. It also helps to keep our dues at the current level. Our dues have been the same since 2006. Can any other organization say that?
Thank you and I hope you enjoy the AuSable Acres Reporter.

Our latest newsletter has been posted on this website. Some of you have received your copies in the mail. Most of us haven’t received them yet, even though they were mailed on 11/13/12. There is a problem with a distribution center in New Jersey (where they apparently are sent) due to Superstorm Sandy. In order to have it available to you we posted it here. Just go to the menu bar at the top of the website and click on newsletters. Enjoy. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
