Lake Eaton Gets Rid of Dead Wood!

On Friday, June 17, a group of AAPOA members worked for most of the day to clear out dead trees and remove brush that was interfering with the growth of other trees. The end result is that the lake area really looks lovely and our members and guests will be able to enjoy it during the picnic on 7/2 and beyond. Vern Gonyea, Loyd Brewer, Frank Krueger, Kevin McDonough, Ian Ellbogen, Kathy and Pete DeFina made up the work crew. Thank you all from the rest of us. This was very hard work and is greatly appreciated. Work crews, both on and off the trails, could always use more help. If you wish to volunteer, please send me an email and we will add you to our list.  See you on July 2nd.
