Rain Didn’t Dampen Spirits at the July 4th Picnic

100 members and guests attended our July 4th picnic. There was great food, games for kids and lots of friends, old and new,  coming together. We even had a guest dog, Buster, who came first and left last.

Waiting out the RainThe parachute was a big hit

Happily, the downpour didn’t cause people to leave. Everyone went under one of the two tents and waited it out. Next year, the pavilion will be there for just such an occasion.

The parachute was a big hit, once again. There were many people who made this event such a success and I want to thank the Chairperson, Paul Longenderfer, who made sure everything went smoothly at the picnic with wonderful preparation and a great team of helpers. Every year it gets better.
