On Saturday, August 24th, a small but hardworking group of AAPOA members cleaned up litter and trash on AuSable Drive from Rt 86 to AuSable Forks. It is hard to understand how that much trash can accumulate since our May cleanup.  I would like to thank Ray Longinetti, Laurie George, Tim Mainzer, Loyd Brewer and Pat and Ron Levine. Rosemary and Doug Barry did the last section two days later. Hopefully, it will stay clean for a long while. It would be great if we had more people willing to give an hour to this necessary task once or twice a year. If we had more people help, we could do some of the other main roads like Sawmill Dr. and Cross St. I can’t even imagine what it would look like if no one from the AAPOA did this cleanup. The next cleanup will be in May, 2014. Exact date to be announced. Please consider helping. Thanks again to our volunteers.
